餅乾深受不少小朋友喜愛,但家長購買時,須留意食物標籤,因長期攝取反式脂肪,或會慢性堵塞兒童心血管。TOPick近日檢搜查市面上84款常見餅乾,結果發現,當中56款餅乾不含反式脂肪。
據食安中心資料顯示,從食物攝取反式脂肪的主要來源是以氫化植物油製成的食物。植物油經過氫化過程後,會由液體轉化為半固體或固體,而反式脂肪亦會同時形成,常見例子有起酥油(Shortening)和人造牛油。
TOPick近日檢視市面84款餅乾,結果發現,有56款餅乾不含反式脂肪,包括愉快動物餅(紫菜)、魚仔餅(烤雞味)、EDO杏仁餅乾、樂天士多啤梨味熊仔餅、奧利奧黑白朱古力等。不過,需留意的是,部分餅乾雖顯示為「零」反式脂肪,但部分含有起酥油或氫化植物油等反式脂肪材料。

綜合本港消委會及中國營養學會建議,男童和女童反式脂肪每日建議攝入量為少於1.4和1.3克;而成人方面,反式脂肪每日攝取量應少於2.2克。
是次檢視亦發現,共有28款餅乾含有反式脂肪,其中一款餅乾反式脂肪更達1.5g(以100克計算) ,詳情如下:

營養師教睇營養標籤
營養師吳耀芬(Kathy)曾表示,由於半氫化油能延長食品的保質期,食物更加美味可口,加上成本一般較低,氫化油便被廣泛應用,如餅乾等酥皮食品都有半氫化油,亦因此會有人造反式脂肪。而按現時本港營養標籤制度,每100克含少於0.3克反式脂肪的食品,可在標籤上反式脂肪部分標示為0克。
Kathy提醒,市民選購餅乾食品時,除了可選擇反式脂肪為「0克」的餅乾之外,亦可避免選擇食物標籤上的食物成分中,含有氫化植物油(Hydrogenated vegetable oil)、部分氫化植物油或植物起酥油(Shortening)等字眼的食物。
兒科專科醫生:長期攝取反式脂肪或引發心血管疾病
兒科專科醫生張傑曾表示,反式脂肪對幼童短期影響不大,但長期攝取會影響新陳代謝,堵塞血管,長期積累於血管內清不走,繼而引發心血管等疾病,建議家長為小朋友選購食品時,應避免買含有反式脂肪的食品。
心臟專科醫生梁達智亦曾稱,反式脂肪雖然有分為人造及天然,但兩者都會為身體帶來負面影響,若生活上長期攝取反式脂肪,積聚在血管內會難以排走,嚴重可引致冠心病及中風等問題。
他建議市民應盡量避免食用含反式脂肪的食品,而患有膽固醇高、血壓高、糖尿病的人士應盡量避免,即使是新陳代謝速率較快的小朋友及年輕也不應輕視,如小朋友年幼時已開始進食含反式脂肪的食品,長遠累積對血管的傷害,心血管疾病亦會更早形成。
