「成日要抱」英文怎樣說？

抱BB？還是不抱？抱多少？是不少家長每天所面對的問題。三姑叫你多抱，寶寶安全感倍增；六婆話抱太多，成日要抱，孩子不得獨立，阻礙大人工作。

「成日要抱」英文可以說want to be held all the time。寶寶想「被」人抱着，所以要用被動語態（passive voice）——be +過去分詞（past participle）held。

Held的動詞不定式（infinitive）是hold。牛津字典將hold定義為「grasp, carry, or support with one's arms or hands」，凡是用手或臂握着、拿着、支持着，便可以用動詞hold描述。「抱着」即是用手和臂拿着和支持着，所以英文用hold指「抱」。

例句：

Can you hold me and take me to bed？（你可以抱我去睡覺嗎？）；
 

I want you to hold me in your arms tightly and never let go.（我想你把我緊緊抱在懷裏，絕不放手。）
